Digital Ireland Forum

Digital 21 is an initiative led by Silicon Republic to examine what needs to be done to make Ireland the destination of choice for the creative industries and services that will be the winners in the 21st century. As partners of Digital 21, TibusHost took part in the event at the heart of this initiative; The Digital Ireland Forum.

This is a bi- annual event hosted by Silicon Republic.  It is a chance for Ireland’s digital leaders and guest speakers to come together to discuss issues relating to the digital era, the topic this September, focused on, The Age of the Connected Consumer.

Andrew Maybin, our Network Services Director, says "I was asked to contribute to the debate on the Connected Consumer. That’s something we advise our clients on daily and it’s a fascinating corner of the internet industry. The pace of change is incredible and the changes themselves are really huge - in fact they are already affecting all of us involved in meeting consumer need, using the web and the internet.”

Andrew was joined by other digital leaders from, BT, Vodafone, Interxion, RTÉ Digital as well as the keynote speakers, Ben Hammersley and Neville Hobson.
